Last week I went on a 3 day trip to northern Michigan with my oldest daughter's class, we spent one day on Mackinac Island. Most of our day there was spent riding bikes and playing at the beach. The weather was beautiful, the island as lovely as it always is. The kids had just enough time to buy the requisite fudge and the ferry ride to the island was a treat for so many of them. My parents have a cottage in northern Michigan and my family sometimes takes our many trips up north for granted.
It was fun to see my daughter's classmates enjoying themselves swimming and biking and hiking. It was also a great opportunity to get to know them and some of their parents better.

Northern Michigan is BEAUTIFUL! We have a cottage "up north." There is nothing like going up north in the summertime.

I love it up north!! You took some wonderful photographs, really stunning.

I hope you can make it to the DUCF and say hello. It would be great to meet a fellow blogger!!
